1) You must have a RAID controller on your motherboard or as an add-in controller
2) You must load the drivers for them.
In the BIOS screens (if you have #1) you should see a message about hitting F6 to load the drivers or configure the array.
3) Some controllers/systems require that the drive have the drivers loaded BEFORE putting it on the RAID IDE connections.
4) Raid5 takes more than 2 drives...takes 3
