Hey,

I've just been contracted to build a website for this corporation who say they want a members section potentially in the future. I've never tried to do this, so is it just a mixture of forms and all that?

What's the easiest way to do it!

there is no "easy way" to do it but it is not all that hard thanks to DW ;)
You would need to look over "dynamic pages" such as asp, php, jsp etc. which essentially run with some sort of databse in the background that stores "member info" such as login cridentials and access rights etc.

You can also use CMS of your choice (same goes for your forum question) and just edit pages to the limits of the CMS of your choice.
Either way you are facing a learning cruve and depending on your experience...
All the best!

Hey,

thanks for the advice. I got the forum working. I got the webspace today and a mySQL database going. In the package i bought, it came with fantastical program. So it made it dead simple to install and get running!

Cheers

Max
