How Do You make a CD Bootable 1

Hi all

I have a problem with a new Compaq N800v Laptop. I cant Login. I located a program which resets the admin password but I need to load it onto a Bootable CD as the floppy is not a bootable device in the Compaq. However I haven't succeeded in making the CD bootable yet. Can anyone help.

the only way to make the cd bootable is through the bios in the startup options. also that LT should be able to boot off the floppy I would be hugely surprised if it couldn't.

the floppy is probably listed as removeable media in the bios.

- has floppy & CD image downloads. Just use the CD version and burn image directly to disk - it will be bootable (and allow password reset).
