How do you link and reference a page number to an image?

I'm working on a small yellow pages directory and trying to link page numbers to the advertisements. For example, it will say, "See ad on page xxx." What I want to do is to find a way to automate the page numbering process so if an advertisement is moved, the page number will also reflect that change. Is there such a script that will perform that feat? I had a script that did that long ago, but for some reason it stopped working, and there were a few bugs here and there. If anyone can help me out on this, it would be greatly appreciated. THANKS A LOT!!! :)
