From my VB prog i am calling another program that runs from Dos-prompt and then spits out some info in dos. However, once the program finishes running, the dos popup window closes immediatley and it is impossible to read the info.

Is there some command to keep the dos window active after the dos program finishes?

Thanks for anyhelp

Try opening your DOS window with this line of code, and then run whatever you need to run.

Shell "command.com", vbNormalFocus

(Use Cmd.Exe for NT/2000)
