How do you have a progressbar step though each event

How do you have a progressbar step though each event?

I have a button that I click and a series of events occur. How can I have the progressbar show completion of each steo until 100% ?

I searched dozens of posts and can't find anything.

set the progressbar maximum value to the count of events. and update progressbar after completion of each event
