I have a couple of Win98 users and I need to have their HP2300 and Okipage 10ex printers show up automatically for Windows printing. I am using a stand alone Win2k Terminal Server, No Domain. I have given the user admin rights and I can not add the driver on the server so that when the Win98 user logs in his printers show up. Does anyone know what I can do?

you could try the following: share the users computer from their workstation to the network. Use a dos command "net use" to redirect the printing in the session to the shared printer. You may need to have previously installed the drivers for the shared printer on the TS server.

Firstly, ensure in the environment tab in AD Users & Computers, check connecto client printers, default to client printer.
Ensure if expecting to map a HP2300 printer, etc the printers are installed on the server, just install them as local printers regardless if you have them connected or not. Ensure the drivers for Win98 are also installed, check this in the properties page of printers/sharing/additional drivers.
Also ensure that you have settings correct in connection centre (Admin Tools) Propeties of RDP, check connect client ports.

For your peace and hassel free future, remove admin rights ASAP from all users inc your self, just use the admin code for admin tasks. SInce this will prevent accidental damage to your servers or the effects of a virus email being opened by a user on the server.
Have fun
