How do you disable "tool tips" display in Adobe 6 Standard

Please.
Could anyone in your organization advise me how to disable "tool tips" display in Adobe 6 Standard so that when a reader hovers the mouse cursor over a link the yellow URL address or tool tip does not display.
Thank you in anticipation.
This has baffeled me for weeks.
