Hi,

I have MS Office XP small business version 2002. Does anyone know how I can get the new look in MS Outlook? I was at my friend's house and saw her new version XP 2003 and love the neat icons.

Questions:
1) Do I have to purchase an upgrade software? Or is there an free upgrade/download file from Microsoft?

Any advice for this beginner will be helpful. Thanks a bunch.

It's an entirely new suite. If you have Office 2002 (XP), then you can buy Office 2003 Upgrade.

Don't confuse the term, XP.

It's applied to Microsoft Office 2002 and to Windows XP operating system, but not to Office 2003.

Hope that helps!

Make sure you are running either Windows XP or Win 2K SP3, else you will not be able to install Office 2003. Also, If you have kids then you may want to look at the Student and Teacher edition, which is significantly cheaper, and can be installed on up to 3 machines in the house.

2003 Student & teacher edition does not come with either Publisher or Business Contact Manager, but you may not care about either of these, and you could keep Publisher from the Office XP version anyway:-
