I need to upgrade my Definity Prologix to software version R11 to enable me administer outgoing trunk disconnection. Can anyone help me out on what to do and where to get the software for upgrade.

Thank you

Bondzie,

firstly, you cannot upgrade to anything other than current version. as of today (surprise! :) the current version is r13. therefore, you should upgrade to r13.
secondly, to do that you should contact your local vendor (or not local, or avaya directly, whatever), give them your configuration and they'll be able to count costs and make an offer.
bear in mind that since you run a bit outdated configuration, there may be some issues considering audix if you have it and call center software if you have it.

I must chime in here. I upgraded to R11 and was the only option I had due to the fact that I had old mcc cabinets with the old risc processors. Avaya stated that R12 will only work with the new s8300/s8700 processors. I was not ready to throw away the "refrigerators" just yet. Check to see if this fact is still true.

Hope this helps
ED

1a2 to ip I seen it all

1a22ip,

in case of your g3r it may be true, avaya's not completely unaware of its customers, especially large ones. :) but Bondzie has prologix which means g3csi and that's not the case. it can be upgraded to r13 and maybe even without significant hardware changes.

I am with you Ed, but the above link shows the end of support on risc processors to be the end of next year. I have been hearing that the S8700's are working pretty good. I (at this time) am not looking to get into the VOIP world so that would make it a little smoother I think. I am still going to hold out as long as I can to avoid the newest, latest, greatest problems.
