How do i trim the first 3 characters from a string? 2

CRXIr2, SQL 2000, XP Pro

All my records in a field return "RT-" or "MT-", I dont want that to show in the report.

I searched for trim in the subject thinking this must have been covered 100 million times and it turned up empty...

I'm sorry, all records return with MT- or RT- at the beginning of the record "RT-Michigan" I only want it to show Michigan.

you can simply use a formula as follows:

mid(your field name, 3)
