How do I sync audio and video using DirectShow?

I'm using the AMCAP demo that comes with the DXSDK, but I'm not sure where to find good info on how to do synchronization. For instance how do I attach timecode to audio waves and an AVI, and then synchronize playback? Thanks,

Hi,
you have to synchronize audio device clock with system clock.
see my special capture engine, a/v synchronization accuracy is 2-3ms per hour.
