How do I setup a "hotline" dialer?

I want to be able to have the phone once the reciever is p icked up dial a stored number directly. this would be helpful for elevator car phones etc.

Here is a step by step, but you can deviate on it if you want

create a 2500 station (ex: ext 2500)
on page 3 assign personal 1 on abbreviated list 1
right below it is Hot Line Destination. Assign 1 on abbreviated dialing list number and 01 on dial code. then save

do a change abbr personal 2500
on DC 01 type the phone number you want the phone to dial. and save.

You get the idea now.

oh okay. darn.

the only way i could get it to work was to set up a 2500 station as a hotline, then delete all call appearances off the digital phone and put a abrdg-appr to the new extension on the first line button. Works but no line appearances for incoming calls... But thanks for the feedback.
