When my callers dial in on the main number, I have 3 choices and then time out. If selection 4 is pressed I need it to route to a group of 9 stations hunting in sequence from top of the list to bottom.

I do not want these extensions to be agents where they have to log in and out. The top 2 extensions will field 98% of the calls.

What is the easiest way to accomplish this?

add a new hunt group, dont check any of the ACD, Queue, vector. change group type to DDC.

Enter extensions on 3rd page. Calls will be delivered from 1 to 999 in that order.

Okay, that is what I did. How do I point the audix to that hunt when pushing 4 off my AA routing? I currently have a vdn as ext 1102 which points to vector 98. Vector 98 routes to 1100, which is the ext for the hunt group 3. With nothing checked, the call tries to transfer and then drops. If I check y on vector it routes with strange results. By the way, this is on a PRI circuit.

Are you prompting for digits within the VM system, or in a vector? If its within the VM system you may need to add a mailbox for 1100.

To test the transfer, just put your extension in, make sure the transfer is working correcly, then work thru the issues with the hunt group.

I am promting for press 4 in VM(Audix). Audix transfers to 1102 which is a vdn pointing at vector 98. Vector 98 routes to number 1100 which is the ext for hunt group 3.

ScoTTeL,

you don't have to route to vdn from the audix. from audix point of view, it's all the same so you can just route to 1100 upon pressing 4.

If I try and route straight to 1100, which is the hunt extension, it says please wait transfering call and then station busy returning to main menu.

Do the AUDIX voice port CORs allow for a call to be placed to 1100?

Okay, here is the deal. Everything I initially tried met with varied results. I used vdn pointing to a vector. An extension to a coverage path and to a hunt, etc..

I either got calls routing funny or a message stating line busy redirecting to main menu.

Finally I deleted it all and started over. I built the hunt group again and pointed the Audix AA button 4 press to that hunt extension. It worked!! Don't know what was up. Must have been a corruption in the translation.

Thanks again guys!!
