How do I restore the 98 registry from my backup? 1

First re-start your computer in MS-DOS as in the shutdown options. then, at the prompt type in scanreg/restore and press the return key.
You will now be presented with hopefully a choice of 5 backups listed by date of creation. Select a date you knew the machine was working correctly and press the return key. That's all there is to it. Hope that helps.Andy.
