I am experiencing problems with ODBC connectivity between Word XP on a Visual FoxPro application. The app works fine in most other environments but I suspect an ODBC problem. How do I remove ODBC components from Windows so that I can reinstall them again with the application to see if that resolves the problem. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Paul

Try Start, Settings, Control Panel, ODBC Data Sources...

This allows me to add and remove DSNs but what about the drivers behind the DSNs. I have already removed and recreated DSNs before I posted this message and it does not make any difference which is why I wish to remove the drivers themselves and then reinstall them. Can you help? Thanks

Paul

Ok. I thought that was little easy...
Try this. Find a file called odbcinst.ini.
Open it. Wihtin, you should find mapping to your "species-specific" drivers. Using this, could you delete manually those which you want to purge and then reinstall??
