How do I publish on visual studio

Can anyone tell me how do I publish an application so the icon is on the users desktop. Im using visual studio,

I am just guessing here, but if you are using visual studio 2005 or 2007 then you need to be in VB.NET group. You will get better help there since this is a 'classic' VB 6.0 group.
