How do I pass input parameters to DTS?

hi there.
i have a stored procedure that requires 3 input parameters at runtime. i need to export the results of this sp to an excel spreadsheet and i would like to use DTS to accomplish this task. it appears that you can pass input parameters to a DTS package but i'm not having much fun with that... not to mention that i can't make it work can anyone help me out? if you know how to set up parameters in DTS and pass them at runtime, great, tell me how. if you have a better solution for this - i'll take that too.
