How do I partition my hard drive

Hi

I want to install a second operating system (Win 98). How do I do this without having to uninstall Windows XP or buying expensive partitioning software?

Doug Knox has written a very clear explanation of what needs to be done, and possible pitfalls. If you have converted your hard disk drive to NTFS, an installation of Win98 becomes nearly impossible without some Third-Party utility to de-allocate disk space, and format the new partition as FAT32.
