how do i mute my 2616

hOW CAN i PUT SOMEONE ON MUTE BESIDES hfa WHEN ON SPEAKER.

I am using the Handset.. and I would like to mute someone..

You can mute only when you use handsfree

some headsets have a mute function built in, here in sc we use duct tape...friday (joke)

The only other way is to use a 3900 series set. You can mute then.
