How do I make a DID ring to a station from a PRI with 14 DID's

I am trying to get one of the DID's that is asigned to a DN to ring to a specific extention before is transfered to the Operator. Is it posible to get one of the DID's from the PRI pool to ring to an extention for a set number of rings and then go to Voicemail?
How do I do that?

If the DID is already assigned to Appear & Ring at the extension, then you need to Call forward/No Answer the extension to the voicemail DN and specify the number of rings before forwarding. This is done under Terminals & Sets - Capabilities.

All the DID's go now to the operator extention. Do I have to remove it from the operator and get to rign and apear to the new extention?

No, but if the operator's extension rings on this DID you will either want to adjust the call forward/no answer rings higher than the new extension, or make the Target Line "Appear Only" on the Operator's extension.

All the DID's go now to the operator extention. Do I have to remove it from the operator and get to rign and apear to the new extention? This contradicts your first thread. If it already rings at the operator it will not DRT to her unless of course she is not the prime set.
My question is are you sure that you have all DID'S ringing at operator or one Target line with multiple appearances??? If this is the case then Brian's first post is what you need to implement.
However, it needs to be a Target Line assigned to that particular extension.

yes the phone nummber that I want to assign to ring to the new extention when you call it it rings at the operators station. This phone number is the last line in a rolover sequesnce of numbers. Can I remove it from the sequence. I read in the manuall that with PRI all the lines in the pool stasy together. But I was thinking that they are asigned DN's so I should be able to asign the DN of the last line to this extention. But I want it not to ring in the operators station.

PRI does not have rollovers.

You can have a main line and private lines....both are called a DID and in the system it is a "Target Line" in programming.

If you want a private line assigned to an ext then assign the target line to that phone.
If you want it removed from another phone then remove the target line.

Are you certain you have a PRI or half of a T1??? If it is a T1, you can have the provider remove it from the hunt group and then program it to the extension...

I will go on site tommorow and look at the operators extention setup and try to see what is the setup of the lines.

i did go on site and I am confused about the programing of this system. I found that the pri brings in PRI-A with 14 lines rolover. They are assigned to DN 157 - 170 with 161 been the first number in the rollove and DN 157 is the 11th line in the sequence. Why would anybody progam it like this?
the operator is on DN300 and it is the first extention/set and she is has line assinments of L031-L052 I dont see them connected to anything they are called Watts but the company no longer uses watts lines so I think they are leftwover from the previous phone programmer..
I did modify extention/set DN 303 the one I want to have line 14(DN 160) ring to have line assinment L044 and L0160 and I could not make it ring.
Does any of the things I have found makes any sense?
there are no hunt groups and only one of the PRI modules is used. How do I get one of the PRI lines out of the sequence and make it ring at DN 303?
Am I missing something very basic?

first if its a t1/pri they are called channels
2nd-are you call target lines DN?
There is no rollover on a PRI.
What you are missing is a tech on site.Who should be able to identify and fix in minutes vs trying to do it for days thru the internet.

If you assigned target line 160 to appear/ring with 2 appearances on ext 303 and it didnt ring your set ,then where did it ring?

Luv2ski is correct my friend. With all due respect, if you are having difficulty identifying what type of lines you have, you need to have a Tech. on site.
