I have many windows 2000 servers on my domain, when authorized users log on to the actual servers in the server room I want them to be logged off automatically after a certain amount of idle time. HOWEVER, I am running apache server on a lot of the servers and when you log off it closes a necessary dos window that has to be open for apache to work.

Any Ideas? Or at least does anyone know how to lock the workstation with out logging off after idle time.

thanks in advance!

Chris

the only thing I can think of is using the Logon screen saver. When the screen saver comes on the user must do a Ctrl-Alt-Del and enter their password to get back to the desktop. New Zealand, a great place to live.
