How do i link a .hlp to a menu ?

Hello there,
I'm new to Visual C++ & have just created my first program.
I've also created a .hlp file using the help workshop (file is .rtf). How do I call the help file from my main dialog menu? I'm not planning on using a pop up. I realise its a novice question, but hey we all start somewhere ;-)
