Whenever Live Update decides it is time to run it does something to my system to keep IE from asking me if I want to disconnect after IE closes.

How do I stop this behavior? I don't have Live Update automatic. That should be enough. Even so, Norton shouldn't change my system values. But it does so whether or not I run Live Update.

To be specific, I have:

Tools/IE Options/Connections/Settings/Advanced/"Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed" checked. I have IE 5.5 and I'm running under Windows 2K.

Usually, when I close IE, it queries me as to whether or not I want to disconnect (which I usually do).

However, if Live Update has activated itself and prompted to be run, whether or not I do the live update, IE no longer queries me about disconnecting the next time I close IE or at anytime thereafter, until I re-boot.
