How do I keep my folders expanded when I re-launch Outlook

How do I keep my folders expanded when I re-launch Outlook?
I'm running Outlook 2003 and have various folders that are buried. But everytime I open outlook I have to reexpand those folders. I don't want to use the favorites folders either. Thanks

do you exit outlook via the file->exit part of the menu, or do you click the x-box in the upper right corner? i do know that some settings are not retained unless you do a file->exit.....

I've tried both ways, and it still does not retain my expanded folders view. Thanks though

You can expand all folders by pressing the + button. But File, Exit should 'remember' your settings as closed. If not, I suspect some sort of add-in is affecting the action.
