How do I install PPDs

We just bought a new computer, & I can't install the PPDs on it from the network, I copied them into the PC's C drive but I can get the printer to open the PPDs,can anyone tell me how?

ppd for postscript printers?

goto to adobe.com and they have help depending on your dtp application, they go in different places depending on your software.
