How do I get the Watch/Ignore feature in Outlook 2000

Greetings Comrads,

I have been using outlook express and am quite pleased with it.
Because my work requires the contact management features of Outlook, I decided to switch to Outlook email as well.

Unfortunately, I failed to determine wether Outlook supported all the OE6 features before moving all 2500 messages from my OE6 Business Identity. Consequently, the very important column "Watch/Ignore" was not present to categoriz these mail. this column offers three indications. #1 no indication, #2 read/red indication and #3 ignore indication

Certainly I could live without it if need be but it is so verry verrry important to the way I handle my 60 daily business email.

If any of you know of a similar feature in Outlook or how to move it from OE6 into outlook ;-) please let me know

Kind of. What you are asking about is the "conversation" view. There is sort of a similar function in Outlook but not exactly the same as OE. Click on help and look up "conversation" and you should see some articles on it. joegz

So what it's not is the conversation Feature. "Watch/Ignore" allows me to scroll through my inbox and note the huge number of items I can ignore and note all those I am still watching. It is very much like flagging except the symbols are different. "Watch" symbol = spectacles and "Ignore" symbol = a red zero with a line through it.
