How do I get the Analog lines to dial to dial straight out.

I have a credit card machine that I need to dial straight out without dialing 9 first.

Who has the good answer....

Call the credit card machine company and have them help you change the dialing string of the credit card machine. I have done it in the past.

make a shortcode forthe user (creditcardmachine)

lets say it must dail 91234567890

then the shortcode should like this (example)

shortcode :1234567890
telephonenumber:9N
linegroup id:0 (your outgoing line)
feature:daildirecthotline

i never used this feature
but give it a go

Here is a few choices: Program under user shortcode.

User ShortCodes:
? . Dial (fax dial out with, or without dialing 9, must dial a digit before accessing a line).

N; N Dial 0 (Lets you dial any digit on a certain line, works same as the ? . Dial 0 but slower)

?D . Dial 0 (fax dial out direct on a line when going off hook)

Last night I reprogrammed the card machines, so we're all good but I will look into testing those codes.
