How do i get Russian text into QuarkXpress passport?

I am trying to paste Russian text into QuarkXpress passport, however, it looks like ???????

How can I get Russian text into QuarkXpress passport?

What are you copying from? Do you have the same font available in Quark? Pasting copies the text but not the formatting. You need to make sure you have the right font applied to the text in Quark.

I have the original text in an MS Word doc (Windows)

I am trying to get it into Quark (Mac)

Microsoft Word can embed fonts. This is why you may be able to view the text in the Word document even if you do not have the font available to your system.

Get the font.
