My problem is this:

When I leave a win2000pro computer on and locked for a long period of time, after about 40 minutes it logs out automaticly, shutting all user's programs!!! How can I prevent this from happening???

I have noticed that this happens also on our win2000 server, but it takes longer before it logs out, about couple of weeks.

Does anyone have a clue why it does this? Thanks.

Check under your Group Policy and Local Policy (Security Options) to see if "Automatically log users off when logon time expires" is enabled.

Thanks Volkoff007. Found where to disable the auto logoff.

But where can I change its time limit if I want to keep it enabled???
