Someone in my company called aruba and we don't want to pay that bill. However, we can't pinpoint who made the call. We know that someone used the operator to make that call so it makes it even more difficult. However, If I can find out which extension dialed '0' at that specific time given to me by my local phone company maybe I can find out who did it. HOWEVER, I have an old system. We have a G3V3i and I don't know if it has that function, or if that function is even existant at all. Any ideas? Is there a way to find out who dialed a number?

If you have a Call Detail Recording device connected to the switch - you can reference that.

"disp sys cdr" and check your primary output. If there's something there, then possibly your are capturing the data. You can do a "sta cdr" to confirm whether or not it's in service/active.

Otherwise... it may be a little more difficult.

Thanks,
Chris

The pbx has a small buffer of information, so if u had connected a printer to the cdr port immediatly after the call, the info might have been in there, but it has been over written now.
