How do I export an Excel file using an an Access macro

I tried using the RunApp option it gives, but that will only allow a .exe file to open. Any advise will help, thanks.

Here is the code that I used, but it keeps coming back with errors...

Private Sub Command84_Click()
On Error GoTo Err_Command84_Click

Dim stAppName As String

stAppName = "Excel.exe U:\Dept Shared Data\Loss Prevention\reports.xls"
Call Shell(stAppName, 1)

Exit_Command84_Click:

MsgBox Err.Description

End Sub
