I have inherited a large access database. This database has had very little maintance over the years. Basically no cleanup has been done just more additions.
There are tables, query's etc that are no longer being utilized by the database. Does anyone have an easy way to identify the resources used by the database or will I just have to manually trace the links?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you need the functionality of the FMS tools then the alternative of programming these yourself is much more expensive. Tony Toews lists several third party tools at his site

I'm not sure how much help this will be to you, but one method I have used is to rename components. When something you are using complains, fix the name on the missing piece. At the end, anything that doesn't get renamed can usually be deleted with relative safety.

It should go without saying, but make sure you back-up your database first, don't work in the production database, etc. Take all of the standard safety precautions, and make sure you can recover anything you remove.
