How do I delete pictures from word document ?

hello.

I have a large word document that has a lot of pictures in it, and I wish to delete them from the document. Has anyone got a sub that will do this (or can quickly whip one up)? I've got one that I use to remove headers and footers but I cannot figure it out for pictures.

Something like this might do the trick

Sub tle()
Dim pic As Shape
For Each pic In ThisDocument.Shapes
    If pic.Name Like "Picture*" Then
        pic.Delete
    End If
Next
End Sub
