Now when I Explore all Users there is still a folder of my brother... but i canot delete it.... it says that access is denied... how do i delete all his folders and profiles? actually.... there is still a folder with my account... which i used with another name... ? any help?

Log on as Administrator, not as yourself

I just tried to share this folder... but an error ocurred... that said

" An error ocurred while trying to share "the folder". Access is denied The Shared resource was not created at this time.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLUE ON HOW TO DELETE THIS DAMN FILE>... As i said earlier... this file was created by my brother... it has his name on it... actually it wasnt created by him... it was created when i created his account(Profile)... i gave him administrative priviledges ... im not sure if he unshared this folder.

by the way... thanks linney... it almost solved my problem... :*( but did not work... maybe i misread instructions...!!!!!!

You must be an Administrator.

To access Security Tabs, Simple File Sharing must be disabled in Folder Options/ View.

yes I already disabled simple file sharing linney... Then I accessed the secirity tab and then i tried to share the folder and when i tried to apply those properties this message appeared!! " An error ocurred while trying to share "the folder". Access is denied The Shared resource was not created at this time"

If there is nothing on it yet, or if you backup what you have, you may be better of re-installing completely. It will be clean again and faster. Who knows what else is waiting to happen.

Log on as Administrator.
Remove the account in question from the Administrators group.
Reboot.
Right click My Computer, select Properties, select Advanced, select User profiles, delete the profile in question.

As for the folder in Documents and settings
Open Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, View, set Simple file sharing.
Delete the folder.

mmv, read the post before answerring, there is only 1 account! It was already deleted before.
And for the other tasks, Simple file sharing has to be OFF, as already stated by linney before.

You need of course to take ownership of the folder before you can delete it.
Select the security tab, advanced....

mmv, again, please READ previous posts, all that was already put here by linney.
Please don't repeat things.

To delete a user profile.

You must be logged on as a computer administrator in order to complete this procedure.

Open System in Control Panel.

On the Advanced tab, under User Profiles, click Settings.
Under Profiles stored on this computer, click the user profile you want to delete, and then click Delete.

To open System, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click System.
