Using C++ Builder TIBDatabase component...we set the user_name and password , and new database base file name...but the IB Local server says our user_name and PWd are unknown to the server. We use SYSDBA and masterkey...can anyone share some C++ code that works to create an Interbase Database "in code"...thanks.

Has anyone changed the log-in details for the Database ?
I would first try connect using the IBConsole program that comes with Interbase to try connect first.
If its compplaining about the log in details then I assume the code you are using is ok, but the details are wrong. Unfortunately I only have an old version of C++ Builder (which does not have Interbase components installed) so I cant post you any code - sorry.
