I am a newbie in access and I am trying to create a switchboard for my database. Could someone please give me help in creating a switchboard for my database.

Tools:Database:Switchboard Manager

However, depending on what you are doing, I have found that using a form and making it the switchboard was much easier to work with and then put the code behind the labels. If you do a search of Tek-tips, you will find a lot of help with switchboards, labels, buttons, and code. Can you be more specific what your database is about? Janet Lyn

Hi Janet, the database that I want to build is one that will be a combination inventory and order entry. My goal is to be able to add items to an inventory table and order items from the inventory table.

With a switchboard you are only allowed 8 choices. If you give me an email address, I will send you a copy of my database so you can go through it and see all the choices and what you like and don't like. Then when you see something you like I can help you find the code. Maybe that would be a good place to start. JL

My email address is antonioross28@yahoo.com . I really appreciate your help.
