I would like to show only the base URL of my site in the browser Address box, ie. when I move from page to page even if I am passing variables via the URL to the destination page.

This isn't posible especially when passing variables. When navigating your web browser uses FTTP. The only way to get around this if you want to hide what your doing is to use encription

You can use Frames to display you pages. when a user is navigating through your site he only will see the framset page in the address window.

AHH, i forgot about that. This is also a nice little trick to hide you main code(from a normal user)

Thanks everyone. It was the frame idea that I had forgotten.
