How do I config DHCP to my NIC etho?

Anyone!

I just installed NIC and tring to connect the Internet.
OS is RH7.2.

First, I would like to receive IP address from my ISP, like when I use Windows PC. How do I DHCP activate?

Second, after succefully installing NIC card and assigned IPaddress to eth0, do i have to assing the routing information, using route to localhost IP?

Please explain to me. Thank yoyu

localhost is allways 127.0.0.1 - what do you want to assign?

For dhcp, man pump should give you a good starting point.
