HOW DO I COMBINE THESE NAME FIELDS

I have a large file, I need to combine a First Name and Last Name field into the following Name format:

LNAME, FNAME

Each record has a unique ID, please help me with the syntax.

SELECT rtrim(lname) + ", " + rtrim(fname) as fullname
from tablename
