Hi Again,
This is Abdul again. I'm opening a remote window and I want it to close down once the file transfer is complete. Currently, I'm using:

ddeexecute window2 "PWEXIT"
ddeterminate window2

where window2 came from ddeinit. I know it has the proper value because I use it to execute a script in the remote window. Any help would be appreciated.

I did not have any problem doing this on my machine. Is the second window running a script that performs the file transfer? If so, I would add the pwexit command to that script instead of trying to use DDE to issue the command.
