How do I clear the ELAN IDs i LD 48?

System Setup:
Option 11C
SCCS configured on ELAN ID 16 linked to SCCS ELAN IP x.x.x.x
CallPilot configured on ELAN ID 17 linked to CP ELAN IP y.y.y.y

Scenario:
Loss of power. The M1, CP and SCCS is down. Power on. M1 and CP starts running. CP gets ELAN ID 16 (should be 17). When SCCS is powered on it gets ELAN ID 17 (shold be 16).

Problem:
How do I clear up the wrong ELAN IDs? The only solution that I know is to power down CP and SCCS. Make a SYS on M1 to clear the wrong ELAN IDs and corresponding application ELAN IPs.

had the same problem after a cp and symposium, switch upgrade, had to find the right sequence, to reboot the three units.. if there is a command to fix that problem nortel tech support didn't share it, the cp guy said i had to bring it up 1st, the symposium people said it needed to come up 1st, in that case i brought the switch up, then the symposiumn, then the cp.. after about 30 hours of grief, but that was all 3 upgrades and changing ip's for all three boxes

johnpoole, I set the boot delay in the CP to 5 minutes. That way I ensure that the Symposium comes up first. But if you have CP 2.0 or later, you can set the SECU to YES for both ELANs, put a generic name label, and then it just doesn't matter. Unless you are using the CallPilot for playing prompts, in which case it still has to come up 2nd, even though it may end up ELAN 16.

when cp was new, i didn't see the boot delay prompt, may have been added the later rls servers, but your right, i was doing the boot delay with a power switch, thanks for the update..sandy
