Hi, I'm a first time user in England.

I have to visit a customer of mine and ascertain how many ISDN30 channels and DDI (DID) numbers they have on their BT Meridian Ooption 51 and 81C.

I presume you can do this from the customers console?

Any advise would be helpful.

Thanks

will show all your isdn trunks. the number of ddi (did) numbers is not entered in the switch, check the billing records. for the number of did trunks, i would do a ld 21
ltm..

John,

Thanks for the very quick response - the info is very useful. As far as the DDI numbers are concerned, yes i can look on the customers bill but I am trying to see if the are programmed on the system or only partially programmed. e.g. if the customer is paying for 100 numbers 0161 828 1100 to 0161 828 1199 but only 50 programmed on the system then I can see there are 50 spare.

ld 20

x (the leading number of your ddi group).. that will list all the unused dn in the ddi range

Might be worth checking the IDC table in LD49 if the DDIs do not directly map + Incoming Digit Conversion is used.

ld 49

This will list the DDI followed by the extension it maps to.

Dave.

good catch, some cross mapping could be in place.
