A quick easy question for a change.

I have set up three IP hard phones(4602/4620/4630) which I am using to evaulate, they all seem to be working fine. On first boot up they all asked for an extension number and password which was ok.

My question is, now that the phones have been setup how do I change the extension number?

Don't think it makes a difference but I am using a 8300/G700 on CM1 and static ip addressing on the phones.

Thanks in advance

- Dave

(yes I do feel a bit stupid asking this question)

Go to the phone and press the following sequence of buttons...

Hold 7 3 7 3 8 # (Hold R E S E T #)

It will then ask you if you want to reset the values.

hold (or mute) logout (or logoff) #

i can't remember if its logout or logoff, i don't have a phone by me to test...

its one of those two

you can use hold or mute, doesn't make a diff..

Dup the station and then delete the old one.

Cheers guys, I knew there would be an easy way of doing this.
