How do I change the color of the knob on a JSlider?

I am trying to change the color of the knob on the JSlider. I have searched the internet and come up with nothing except some vague suggestion about changing the UI somehow. Any thoughts?

Since a JSlider is a JComponent, perhaps the setForeground(Color) method?

It's not so easy for me to write a quick test for this, so I don't know for certain if this will do it for you.

Not to worry, I found the answer. You have to change the UI for the Slider. Pity there's no setKnobColor() but it's the challenge I guess.
