How do i Assigning 24 hr working to a task

I am creating a maintenance plan that requires certain activities to happen over night if required, after resource leveling. But i can only seem to make the resource 24hr working not the task,(which may have multiple resource assigned to it)!
any ideas please.

You could create a task calendar that allows for a 24-hour task, and then assign the overnight task to that new calendar.

If you do this often, you might want to give your whole project a 24-hour calendar and assign the appropriate resources. As long as the resource calendars are accurate, they will control the project flow. This is probably more dangerous than my first suggestion.
