How Do I add IP addresses in FreeBSD?

linuxMaestro,

Are you referring to binding multiple IP addresses to a single network card, or adding A records in DNS? Please be more specific.

Im trying to bring up multiple ip addresses on a single network card.

I tried that but the don't stay on after I reboot, how do I add them permanantly?

linuxMaestro,

I'm not sure if the above link mentions this, but you can use ifconfig alias in your rc.conf so that the settings persist after a reboot.
