How can you resize a crosstab column

I have a cross tab report, I want to re-size the columns...
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Just grab the borders of the field and stretch them.

When i click on the borders, I get a cursor that looks like a cross....

Move the cursor around until it turns into a <-> and then drag the border to the desired dimension.
