Hi,

I designed reports with 10 columns, this main reports having 4 subreports in 4 detail sections.
For dividing columns i'm using vertical lines from Header to footer. Reports are (Look & feel)working fine with data. If any subreport is not having the data i'm suppressing the subreport. In this case vertical lines are not suppressing. How can we suppress the vertical lines.

I tried to insert Vertical lines in subreports.. main report & Sub report line allignments are not fitted properly.

How can we solve this problem any one have idea pls help me.

Thanks in advance
Megana

A tad complex, and not sharing your software version doesn't help.

You might create a section below the subreport and select underlay following section in the subreport section, then use a shared variable from the subreport to determine if the section with the lines should be suppressed.

I'm not sure if this will work as the underlay may not make the subsequent sections lines ot expand appropriately.
