How can VBA be used in AutoCAD R14 and 2k?

I know VB/VBA pretty well but I am new to the AutoCad world. What can VBA do for AutoCAD and how? Please share any knowledge, experience, ideas, reference sites or material with me.

That is a pretty general question that books have been written about. With VB/VBA, you can do just about anything in AutoCAD. I have written several programs that automate product design. One program produces up to 22 detailed drawings, complete with dimensions, balloons, and a BOM. It is also handy to create utilities that simplify common tasks. AutoCAD 2000 is much better suited for VB programming. R14 does not have the same look and feel as typical VB interfaces, and the object library is much more limited. R2k brings the standard look and feel of VB.
